God is a Verb was produced by Hook & Eye Theater, and had a sold-out run in November 2015 at the Actors Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn.
Summer, 1969: an eccentric philosopher-poet professor gathers a team of brilliant, offbeat academics in a Manhattan classroom with one goal: devise a plan to make human life sustainable and save the planet from itself.
Inspired by the mind and myth of R. Buckminster Fuller, GOD IS A VERB blends historical fact with absurdist comedy to create a moving and urgent portrait of a world - and a man - on the brink.
